Specialty Contractor: Sarah Ellis is a proven leader, entrepreneur, and advocate for the construction industry. In 2021, she founded AEC Works, a multimillion-dollar design-build subcontractor, bringing over 20 years of experience in operations, finance, marketing, and strategic leadership to the table. Her deep industry knowledge and commitment to growth have made her a respected voice in construction across Georgia. As the current Education Committee Chair for ABC of Georgia, Sarah has demonstrated her passion for the mission to connect construction disciplines for the betterment of the industry, economy, and workforce in Georgia. She regularly attends monthly events and steps up wherever needed, embodying servant leadership in action. Sarah’s leadership experience includes serving as Board Chair for Infrastructure Board of TAG (Technology Association of Georgia in 2022), a 35,000-member body, where she led the launch of a successful podcast platform focused on educating members and generating revenue for the organization. Her leadership helped shape statewide advocacy around technology infrastructure—evidence of her visionary approach to industry challenges. A wife and mother of two, Sarah brings balance and intentionality to all areas of life. She founded CRE Women of Faith to empower women in construction leadership with values-driven support, positively impacting thousands of employees through integrity and generosity in business. Sarah’s ability to bring light and initiate positive change makes her uniquely suited for the ABC of Georgia Board of Directors. She looks forward to continuing her commitment to ABC of Georgia’s mission and long-term development. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys outdoor adventures with her family, mentoring others financially, and reading.
