Excellence in Construction

The Excellence in Construction (EIC) award recognizes the innovation, quality and vision of the project team—contractors, architects, engineers, owners and others—who have played a vital role in the project's completion. Projects are judged on a variety of criteria such as safety, personnel management, quality control, scheduling and degree of difficulty.

The EIC award takes place every other year. This year is an active year, so we will be pairing the EIC award ceremony with our annual Safety award ceremony. We are excited to announce that the 2016 EIC & Safety Gala will be held July 20th at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, GA.

Note: ABC National requires that projects win an award at the chapter level to qualify for entry into the national EIC program. However, since ABC of Georgia only holds its EIC competition in even-numbered years, you are only required to win a chapter level award in those years. In odd-numbered years, you may enter the national competition without first having won a chapter award.
