Safety at ABC

One of ABC of Georgia's primary objectives is to promote safety-focused culture throughout the membership. We are working toward this goal through several key initiatives.

Safety Training
ABC offers safety education and training to the workforce in Georgia. All throughout the year we offer OSHA 10- and 30-Hour classes at headquarters.

Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP)
Established in 1989, the Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) serves as a benchmarking and improvement tool for achieving world-class safety performance in construction. Members measure their safety processes and policies on the 20 Key Components through a detailed questionnaire and learn to implement or enhance safety programs.

Safety Forum
On the last Friday of every month, safety professionals from ABC member companies meet to discuss current safety issues within the industry. There is no cost to participate and anyone (regardless of title) is invited to participate.
