gain recognition is to participate in any or all of our award programs. All recipients of awards are printed in several publications, such as the Atlanta Business Chronicle. ABC offers the following awards to showcase our members:

ABC National honored the country's best construction firms at the 20th annual Excellence in Construction and National Safety Excellence awards ceremony earlier this month in Washington, D.C. Hardin Construction Company, LLC of Atlanta, GA, received a Pyramid Award for the Atlanta Botanical Garden Visitor Center & Parking Facility. Safety awards were also handed out that night. Winners were selected from members achieving Platinum status in ABC's Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program, based on criteria including: self-evaluations, lost workday case rates, total recordable rates and interviews conducted by ABC. Both The Saxon Group, Inc., and W.G. Yates & Sons Construction Company won National Safey Excellence Awards in the General Contractor category. Excel Electrical Technologies, Inc. and Hensel Phelps Construction Company each won a National Safety Merit Award. Congratulations!
