2,500 individual participants throughout the state of Georgia. We are one of 78 chapters in the National ABC Federation based in Washington, D.C., which has more than 25,000 member companies across the U.S. This national affiliation allows ABC to provide members with a broader range of resources and services, in tandem with us actively supporting our industry's interests on a local level.
ABC of Georgia is the construction association that unites the entire construction team - developers, general contractors, specialty contractors, suppliers and industry professionals - to create an environment that encourages members to work together to achieve common goals. We ARE the voice of Georgia's commercial construction industry.

ABC of Georgia helps its members grow and prosper by building relationships, developing their employees, promoting best business practices, and encouraging effective political involvement.
ABC actively supports free enterprise and open competition to ensure that its members have a pro-business environment in which to work and succeed. ABC advocates merit shop construction which emphasizes that construction projects should be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, based solely on merit.
ABC offers programs and services that provide contractors opportunities to strengthen working relationships with other members. We help educate their work force to build more efficient, safer and profitable projects. And we assist in increasing their political and community involvement efforts.
- Monthly Networking Events – every month ABC offers at least one venue at which contractor members share ideas and discuss similar challenges their companies face on construction projects.
- Management and Safety Education – approximately five educational seminars are offered every month to help member employees increase their firm’s profitability and operations.
- Legislative – ABC communicates our industry’s position on governmental and legal issues to legislators at both the local and national levels, and monitors issues impacting our members.
- Quality Workforce – ABC founded our educational affiliate – the Construction Education Foundation of Georgia (CEFGA) – which promotes construction as a viable career to high school and technical college students to create and sustain a quality workforce for our industry.
- Industry News and Other Programs – Members are updated on industry issues. Numerous health insurance, retirement and affinity programs are offered to assist ABC members.
